About the Team

You will be working in a small interdisciplinary group of enthusiastic CAE experts supporting simulation teams and development projects. It is distributed over three locations, reflecting the international character of ZF. The wide range of products and competencies in simulation offers high potential for manifold individual development directions but also challenges with flexibility and independent engagement.

Scope of duties

• What you can look forward to as CAE Engineer (m/f/d):
• Tool and method implementation for simulation, lean validation and development efficiency;
• Implementation of Robust Design based on simulation, sensitivities and statistical considerations;
• Project management / project support for tools and methods relevant for simulation and NVH;
• AI/ML method development and implementation;
• Interact in a global team with stakeholders from simulation, validation and design.

Requirements

• Master’s Degree in engineering Experience with CAE software (ANSYS, ABAQUS, or other software for simulation and optimization);
• Basic knowledge in engineering statistics and reliability;
• Basic knowledge on data analytics (PowerBI/Power Platform);
• Basic knowledge on AI/ML concepts and methods;
• Excellent communication skills, fluent English language skills;
• Project management skills.
