The Host Company

The host is the UK and Irish branch of a global non-profit organization dedicated to providing students with paid international work experience in technical and STEM-related fields. The current team brings extensive experience from its sister company, which has been offering international internship opportunities since 2012.With a unique business model, we can offer internships and research projects to students with companies in the UK and Ireland, ranging from global corporates to start ups and, in a whole array of disciplines. Rapidly expanding, we are now looking to get more quality host companies on board, meaning a need for top quality people to assist with recruiting. The host has had many successful internships and with their friendly team and work hard, play hard ethic, you are guaranteed a great experience.

Tasks

• Research and establish connections with new companies.
• Plan and run targeted email campaigns for businesses and Universities.
• Support promotion with a multi-channel approach to international partners to reach appropriate participants to apply to our programme.
• Grow network through LinkedIn, emails, social media, phone and F2F events.
• Create engaging content to enhance new and existing relationships.
• Review existing promotional efforts, report on performance and suggest new ideas.
• Attend or host virtual network events to raise the hosts profile and attract interest.
• Hold video calls with UK clients to create relationships and promote internships.

Desired Skills

• Studying for a Marketing or Business degree or similar.
• High level of energy, enthusiasm and commitment.
• Entrepreneurial mind-set.
• Analytical and proactive with solid administration skills.
• Confident and professional communicator, both written and oral.
• Confident and creative using social media e.g .LinkedIn, Facebook, Instagram.
• Knowledge of CRM and Email campaign software.
• Interest or knowledge in best practices for SEO and Google Analytics.
