The role of Machine Project Expert is based in our Lighting Business Group in Niemce.

Responsibilities

• Industrializing and introducing of new products in the field of electronic & SSL devices (Solid State Lighting) production with focus strongly to manufacturing equipment and their development;
• Supporting the development of process and testing concepts according to the standard processes and norms;
• Equipment/machine build with focus on the machine concept, design study and the first concept drawings (SolidWorks, AutoCAD etc.) and cycle time simulation considering the LEAN and low automation principles;
• Supporting and cooperating closely with research and product development department to insecure the product design for manufacturing in early phase (Tools: Dfx, DFMA, PFMEA etc.);
• Supporting equipment supplier scouting in the context of identifying and developing key and basic technologies.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in engineering;
• Several years of experience with technical and production-related project coordination;
• Advanced knowledge in the field of project management;
• Know-how in EU safety legal requirements;
• Simulation in Siemens NX or other robotic simulation software (KUKA, EPSON etc.);
• Intercultural understanding and willingness to travel nationally and internationally (approximately 30% of working hours);
• Knowledge in m- and e-Cad (Autocad, Solidworks, PADS) would be an advantage;
• Self-confidence in combination with good communication skills and assertiveness.
