Hybrid EmployAbility, in partnership with Google, is delighted to launch a recruitment initiative focused on identifying talented disabled individuals for roles within Google’s Software Engineering team.

This initiative welcomes candidates with a passion for technology, and prior software engineering experience in one or more programming languages Python, C, C++, Java, JavaScript, to join Google in an environment that champions diversity and empowers all to thrive.

 

About the role

Currently enrolled in a Bachelors or Masters degree in Computer Science or a related technical field in the EMEA region and in your penultimate year of education, returning to your degree program (Bachelors, Masters or other) after the internship.
Experience working with data structures or algorithms during coursework/projects, research, internships, or practical experience in school or work (e.g., open-source coding). Coding experience in one of the following programming languages: Python, C, C++, Java, JavaScript.

Preferred qualifications:

  • Ability to complete a 13-17 week full-time internship in the internship location between May - October 2026. Relevant practical or internship experience (e.g., research assistant, teaching assistant, personal projects, etc) with programming in either: C++, Java, Python, or Go.
  • Interest and ability to learn other coding languages as needed.
  • Relevant practical or internship experience with one or more of the following: web application development, Unix/Linux, mobile application development, distributed and parallel systems, machine learning, information retrieval, natural language processing, networking, developing large software systems, or security software development.
