Responsibilities

As the Global Backend Developer , you will​: ​ ​

• Be responsible for creating, maintaining and extending serverless and containerized business-critical applications in JavaScript or TypeScript.
• Collaborate with Global IT and Global Development teams to design and implement solutions that meet business needs Design, implement and deploy highly scalable solutions based on business requirements.
• Develop test plans to ensure solutions meet business requirements and strict quality standards.
• Engage with stakeholders to conduct system testing, user acceptance testing (UAT), and post-implementation reviews Step-by-step debugging of the solutions in a 2nd line support.

Requirements

The ideal Global Backend Developer Has:

• A minimum of 3-5 years of experience as a Back-End/Full-Stack JavaScript Developer in a similar B2B environment.
• writes clean, comprehensive, testable and well-documented code.
• Is experienced in developing distributed Node.js applications.
• Understands and has practical knowledge of an Event-Driven Architecture (Kafka, RabbitMQ, cloud-based event buses).
• Is proficient in English and one other European language (desirable).
• Has worked within an international setting.
