One-year scholarship program sponsored by the Free State of Bavaria 2025/26. The Free State of Bavaria is pleased to announce a new call for applications for the Free State of Bavaria annual scholarships 2025/26 for graduates from Central, Eastern and Southeastern Europe. Graduates from Bulgaria, Croatia, Czech Republic, Hungary, Poland, Romania, Russia, Serbia, Slovakia and Ukraine (with appropriate citizenship) can apply to BAYHOST.

The scholarships are intended to finance postgraduate studies (i.e. master's studies) and doctorates at Bavarian universities. You can also finance one-year study stays in Bavaria as part of a doctorate in your home country. The annual scholarship can be extended twice, for a maximum period of 3 years; the scholarship is 934 euros per month.
